If you are converting your van into a sleeping space, the bed frame is the foundation of everything. At Camporan we manufacture bed frames and structures to measure for the most common models on the market, combining 12 mm birch plywood with anodised aluminium profiles. The result is a rigid, lightweight platform that stays put even when you are parked on a slope.

Why a made-to-measure frame makes the difference

Universal bed frames look like an easy fix, but in practice they almost always leave gaps, shift around or waste usable space. When a frame is designed specifically for your van model, it fits the existing anchor points without drilling and lets you access the underbed storage without dismantling everything.

Our camper beds are available in different configurations: longitudinal or transversal layout, fixed or folding, single or double. Choose the one that best fits how you plan to use your van.

Materials and construction

We use 12 mm birch plywood for the platform and anodised aluminium profiles for the frame. Birch is more stable than generic plywood: it does not warp with moisture or the temperature swings that are common inside a van. The aluminium keeps weight down without sacrificing rigidity.

Tool-free assembly

The assembly system uses wing nuts and snap connectors that fit together by hand. You can put the frame together and take it apart in minutes, which is useful when you need to recover the cargo area or carry passengers. No screwdriver, spanner or drill required.

Mattress compatibility

The frames are dimensioned precisely so the mattress sits flush with no movement and no dead space around the edges. If you do not have a mattress yet, take a look at our van mattresses, also made to measure to fit each frame exactly.
